Hope Humanitarian partnered with another organization called Solidaridad Sin Límites to bring aid to Venezuelan refugees who had crossed into Colombia and were making their way on foot to places all over the region where they heard they could find work. We went along to record video of the expedition in order to help increase awareness back in the United States and to help bring in more charitable donations. Our expedition ended just as COVID-19 lockdowns were starting, and some of our team who took later flights even got stuck in Colombia for a bit. Given the trouble that the pandemic caused us, we’re very worried for the people we left behind in Colombia who were already so badly exposed to hardship.
